I attended Shimin's wedding on Monday at Holiday Inn Park Hotel.

Shimin is from my secondary school band, and a year my junior.

Now as I think back, time really flies.

The dinner was held at the crystal ballroom and I was so glad to

meet so many ex-mayflowerians there.

Too bad, not many ex-band members were there.

The wedding couple were teased and being badly sabotaged by the

"brothers"and "sisters", really felt quite sorry for them.

Not too bad, a chance to catch up with old schoolmates.

Fresh Strwberries from Japan, served with condensed milk...yummy!

Honey Apples from Tokyo too...very sweet and juicy as every bite of it taste with honey!

Met up with my ex-colleagues on christmas eve. Went to her house at Holland V and this was a cooking session. Each of us contributed one dish, making up our Christmas dinner.

Well, it was actually a simple dinner, no log cakes and turkeys. Simon was the main chef that night. He cooked curry chicken, kang-kong & omelette mushrooms, PS prepared the top shell cold dish, Pham asked her maid to prepare a potato dish...
and me? I prepared my all time favourite noya
dessert. This year, I am especially happy to receive a LV coin purse and burberry's handkerchief from Pham. Thanks buddy!

We spent some time at cold storage and playing
with the 5-month old Della Bea. Wow... she has grown so much bigger and now when I carry her for more than 5 mins, I start to surrender. I felt quite naughty and tries to bully this little girl, when I see her excited with a toy, but unable to reach it. Seeing her irritated face when she is unable to crawl over, makes me feel like laughing.

Our dinner ended almost at 10pm, and we went
straight to Orchard Party World for our usual KTV session. It was super crowded and luckily Pham made a reservation and she drove superbly swift and fast, and we managed to reach there within 10 mins. The most irritating part was I met a dishonest cab driver that night!

He took the wrong direction and I ended up reaching home very very late. I was so annoyed by this! He actually refused to take the upper thomson route coz he says it's too spooky and quiet. He ended up taking a longer route, taking me to the Senoko industry park area, chalking with expensive fares even after he has given me a discount! That was ridiculous! I gave him a very pissed off look!

Today, another mini gathering at my house. My little cousins were here. They were especially excited and hyper active while I distributed the door gifts and presents to them! Haha... yah...and lots of yummy food on the table. I was some sort of baby sitting them and brought them downstairs to play their new toy - remote control cars. Quite fun to see the boys competiting and racing along the pavements. Also played badminton for a while...quite fun. It's very satisfying to see the kids all so happy today.

Gifts I received yesterday for Christmas!

Opps! Ki xiao liao... reminds me of Princess Diaries.
Anyway, I still love the good view of Suntec.

Christmas Party

Yesterday, I had a Christmas party at the office.

Didn’t expect to receive so many gifts… I’m so happy.

Just remember that this year’s Christmas is full of laughter!

The games we played during the party were especially

memorable. I will post up some silly & funny pictures

taken during the games session.

In one of the games,
we ought to make use of creativity.

My team decorated a human “Walking X’mas Tree”

using the recycled team! It was especially hilarious

when we stick an antennal and a star,

on top of our team’s helmet.

For gift exchange, I was lucky enough to receive

Seiyu vouchers from my director. Happy gal already.

Hehe… I bought a Muji namecard album for my

immediate superior. Hope she like that coz I spent 2

weeks looking for it.

My other gifts received today includes a pretty ribbon

and pearl bracelet, butterfly hand phone pouch, bath

lotion and scented candles.

Went bugis for some shopping with Kristal. Bought 2

bottoms from Giordano as they are having a 30%

discount on the jeans that I bought. Meanwhile, I

didn’t get a chance to use my voucher as nothing

catches my eyes in Seiyu. Finally, I spent my night

downloading some nice mp3s into mobile phone coz

I am really tired of the old songs I am listening everyday.

Today, I’ll be going to my girlfriend’s house later for

another Christmas gathering. Will be preparing and

making the noya desserts for everyone too.

Hope everyone will like it. Yah, long time haven’t

seen baby Della Bee,

So going to pinch her chubby cheeks later.

5566

Went to 5566's concert yesterday at Singapore Expo's Max pavilion. The place was so crowded and this was my first time there to watch concert. Thanks to my kor and Aunt Jac who managed to get 2 more tickets for us. Hence, turn out to have more people going. So the merrier!

Our colleague, Evelyn, is a great fan of 5566 and it was lucky to have her sitting beside me, telling me all the name of the special guests! haha...it's Seven flowers and a frog...but still cannot remember their names till now. Well, frankly speaking, I'm not a real fan of 5566 but it's not too bad to participate in the concert, swinging our light sticks and singing along with the idols! I nearly lost my voice as the ambience there was really high. Nobody sits down and I spent the entire 4 hours standing and swinging the light sticks. Hmm... Sort of good exercise for the arms too.

The theme for the night is very interesting. It's a tour around the world. Starting from Africa, followed by Europe, then Korea, then etc ....and the last was Asia. Most memorable part was hearing them speak in different languages. It's so funny!

Christmas Shopping

...Jingle bell! Jingle bell!...

Kinda excited as it's only one more week to Christmas. I am filled with holiday mood each time I step in the shopping centers. Whether it's during lunch hour passing by the mall, or shopping during the weekends. Everywhere seems to be filled beautiful christmas decorations and selling all sort of gifts.

I'm feeling much excited as this year, I'll be holding a mini christmas party at my place. All my little cousins will be coming and think they'll be bombarding me with lots of questions and turning the house upside down. But nevertheless, I thought it would be nice to get them some gifts.

I just came back from some christmas shopping. Guess what i bought for my little cousins? Well... bought remote control car for the 3 boys and a barbie doll and pink sling bag for the little princess "yuan yuan". Yeah, luckily this year my kor is willing to sponsor the presents for the kids, and he's too busy to do the shopping. I am just so glad to help him spend $$$. Hehe!

Meanwhile, I need to take a rest and will be going to the 5566 concert later at 6pm! So stay tuned... will be updating my blog tmrw! Hopefully with some nice pics! :p

I'm back! So sorry to update my blog for the past week. Yah, have been so busy with school and work.

Last week was a very busy week. I even have to attend lecture on Sunday. Guess I enjoy attending my OT class on Mondays as my classmates were fun and Sunny is a good lecturer. He taught us alot many management theories and how it relate to the real working situations. Too bad, I realised that my lessons are coming to an end very soon. Going miss my friendly classmates.

My last OT lecture will be in January 2006. However, that leave me lots of enthusiasum, looking forward to exams and graduation! And lots of things I'm going to do~

Recently I am influenced a blogger who's also a music fantic! Well, reading his blog brings back my inspirations and drives me hard to enjoy music. I can say that since young, I really love music! Music and singing is a second life to me. It cheers me up and keeps me happy at every moment. I have downloaded and listened to songs this blogger has composed. Although it was just some simple rythms and beats, but it seems to stir up something in me.

Some years ago, I somehow gave up my passion for singing as I want to be realistic. I thought that I should not waste time on it. Now, I feel that it should be something that I should look forward to learning. I am now eagerly looking forward to many things that I want to accomplish in the long-run.

(Btw, I am doing some count down and also eagerly looking forward to my Bangkok trip this coming January! Hoho....Must work hard on my savings plan too! )

My Girlfriend's Wedding

4th December has finally came!

And this day is a special day for my colleague's Jo.

I attended her wedding dinner last night with my sis.

At 7pm, we took a cab down to Mandarin Hotel.

There were lots of people and were glad to see ex-colleagues once again.

The bride was extraordinary pretty that night.

And the performance by the groom was so touching...

until almost all of us felt like crying.

During the dinner, while the couple strolled in by the aisle,

I was surprised to hear that the music being played was sang by the groom!

The groom presented a song written by him to the bride,

and at the same time playing the piano.

Wow... all of a sudden, I felt that Jo is the luckiest woman in the world.

Having gone through a few of my friend's wedding,

I feel so happy for those who have found their loved ones.

To be loved and to love is a wonderful thing.

I hope everyone can treasure every moment that you spend with your loved ones,

Given the fact that most of us often take things for granted.

Live your life without regrets.

Enjoy!

~Feeling Sick~

These few days are really terrible.

1st is only slight sore throat on Sunday nite...

then comes flu on Monday...

Tuesday was terrible. Sore throat + Flu + Fever!!!

Didn't have time to see doctor then coz I've to work and has night class.

Worst still, it was raining heavily when my lecture ends.

I took 6 panadols that day and managed to get the temperature down.

By wednesday, my fever was off.

Left with sore throat + cough + flu ...yah new equation now.

Haha... thought i was getting better.

Who knows ... I guess it's better for me to stay at home and rest, rather than go work.
I dun wish to spread the stupid virus to anyone else hor.

Thanks to my lovely mama, who boils herbal tea for me today :)

So sweet and nice "luo han guo" which is not bitter and soothing to throat.

Better recover fast ...

Sunday is my colleague's wedding and I hope to get completely well by then.
