West Coast BBQ!!!

Went for BBQ with my colleages at West Coast yesterday. It was my first time there and the place was indeed ul-lu one. Spent almost half an hour to walk to the BBQ pit.. coz Elin and I took the wrong path. Plus!!! there was a super huge black bearlike "doggy"... so enormous that I do not dare to overtake him. This black thing was not lached and walked rather slowly behind his owner. Wah... so torturous to walk behind such a dangerous creature. The worst thing is... Elin instead of being frightened like me, she was anxious to take a photo of it. I think he was camera shy bah... made some growling sound while Elin walk nearer to him. I wouldn't dare imagine if it leap forward us, it would definitely be taller than me!

I didn't really the BBQ very much actually, as someone was there and I felt quite uncomfortable with her. Hmm...I should say because she's arrogant, snobbish, gossipy and extremely 38! Cannot stand the sight of her. Some my colleages' brought their children and they were so cute. Especially PH's son, go around taking pictures ... with photos badly framed... and we have to self adjust to his camera's frame, so that we fit into the photo. Wah...such a "pro" photographer rite??? Almost everyone brought their family and bf there last night... Too bad I was alone and was worried abt D. Coz he spent the night in hospital on Friday night and his eyes were still swollen like a goldfish. Wah... so poor thing leh. Luckily I met him today... eyes recovering, but still a bit swollen. Rest well and recover fast, ok or you will have problem taking your test this coming Aug.

I am becoming lazier to blog these days... due to the fact that my phone software on my pc has some problems, so can't upload pics...and I really have a hectic week, juggling both work and study. Haiz ... 24 hours a day never seems enough!

Anyway, here am i blogging again! I finally got the time to uninstall and reinstall the mobile software in my PC again! Heh heh... so friends, you will stop complaining that I never update my blog, k.

If you gals happen to read this, juz pass the message around. I would like to organise a dinner gathering sometime in the 4th week of August. I received an sms from Eva and she's coming back to Spore that week and it would be great if we can meet up for a simple dinner. Will keep you gals informed when the date draws nearer hor.

Feeling quite relieved that I only have one day of lecture this week and it's OVER! This means less tiring this entire week, and I can have more time for myself. Wow... after my semester starts, I realise that I don't even have time to catch up with my old friends le. Even my Pham"da jie" give birth, I also haven't visit her yet. So anxious to see her little princess...play with her little fingers! Wow...prob go next week coz of some superstitious beliefs! Anyway, went for some window shopping after work. Bought myself a white jacket and a sleeveless top. Quite a good bargain at Bugis village. So quite satisfied!

Wow....saliva drooping already rite??? Haha...that's our dinner at Centre Stage. Yummy!!!

Romantic Dinner at Marina

Yes! Juz wanna share a wonderful place for dinner at Marina Square!

I was there to celebrate my cute colleague-cum-friend's birthday... Peggy's birthday. Well, have been eating yummy food the whole day. Still guilty over today's lunch at Fish & Co. But still went ahead with dinner at Marina Square, Centre Stage. It's at level 2 of the newly renovated Marina Sq. Really enjoyed dining there... great ambience, music and the photo taking session. We gals couldn't stop laughing with our funny actions and poses... especially when I forgotten to take out my glasses. There are Japanese, Thai and Chinese crusine. We finally settled down at the Imperial Treasure La Mian Xiao Long Bao Restaurant. We sat quite near to the stage. At the lounge, there's a live band. We were lucky last night. The pianist was not only talent and handsome, but can also sing well lol! O_O hehe... really find it hard to keep our eyes off him lol. (Blush!) His presence made our dinner so romantic man!

SUNDAY:

Went Marina in the afternoon. The place is not bad after renovation. Lots of restaurants and cafes over there. I had my lunch at one of the chinese restaurant "Dian Xiao Er". I quite like the concept as I can feel like an ancient woman in the Qin dynasty, sitting on the wooden chairs and tables.

So met up with my polymates later on. I am glad that we finally meet up again after our last gathering in December. Seems everyone are so busy and working hard for their future. The 4 of us had a gossiping and san ba session at mos, while waiting for Mr. Raymond. We had dinner at v8. This time, we had something different! Hehe...no more steamboat le.


MONDAY:

I had monday blues!!! My ESAP lessons started this week and poor me... attended lessons alone on Monday. Suddenly I missed all my friends...cannot attend lectures together le. Luckily, I made one new friend during the tea break. Hope my next lecture will be more fun.

By the way, my playful student sent me an sms! It reads: "I will not forget you". At first I thought it was so touching... she's so sweet. Maybe missing me rite. I replied to her asking her about her exams results. Wah...She didn't do well for her exam this time. So I was wondering if she really miss me or hate me??? Hope it's not for the negative side.


TUESDAY:

Nothing special. Went home straight after work to camp in bed. Too tired to hang out anywhere after work. Wishing for Friday to come earlier! Friday, Friday, Friday!!!


WEDNESDAY:

My mentor at work is leaving today. Never thought that she prepared everyone a gift she made herself. Sort of touched by her thoughtfulness. Watched "The Fantastic 4" after work. It was quite a nice comedy and helped to destress me a little after work. But I think the character's power resembles "The Incredibles", like being invisible and elastic.


THURSDAY:

Stress at work today! Hope tomorrow is over soon. Friday is cool!
