Bliss at Punggol Park

This is taken by Delon's camera when the sky was a little darker. Hmm, I think it looks better... more romantic... hehe.

Was at Punggol Park today! This was my first time there. All thanks to Delon who brought me to this wonderful place for dinner. We had candlelight inner at this restaurant there called Bliss. The ambiance was relaxed and is really a good haunt for saturday evening, sitting by the pond, having dinner while watching some people jogging and cycling in the park. We had a yummy and mouth-watering dinner with lobsters, scallops, oysters, prawns, fillets, soup and ice-cream. Overall, the service was quite prompt and food is delicious, especially the lobsters. Thanks for the dinner and cheering me up too. I enjoyed myself very much!

Above are some pictures for viewing....enjoy!

This is my new wallet... with jap characters on it meaning "Angel"! Posted by Picasa

With the metal straps on...so cool! Posted by Picasa

New Japanese Wallet

Finally I bought the wallet that I have been aiming for the last 3 months.

The jappy one with floral prints...most importantly, it comes with a metal strap that I can sling over when I don't feel like bringing a bag out. So cool! I have been looking out for this wallet around Singapore and only managed to find this at one place! Although it's a little expensive, but I think it's real worth it as the boss told me that it's directly imported from Japan. And also, I simply love the words "Angel" carved on it! So cool right?

Friday afternoon was quite fun as I shopped around in Orchard. Everywhere seems to be having sales and slashing prices. Isetan, Metro, and Heeren...all having sales. So tempting...but think have to control coz just bought a wallet. I met Delon for Dinner. We had Spagetti and Paragon's Spagettis! Yes, actually her wanted to eat Ding Tai Feng, but I insisted to dine at my favourite restaurant, Spagettis. But know what? I ordered the wrong food! I actually wanted the cheezy pasta, ended up having spagettis. It tasted more dry with olive oil instead of the creamy sauce which I loved. Luckily we ordered Ceaser Salard and chicken soup as well. So at least I was disappointed with the wrong order.

Fun With Photoshop

I had lots of fun with photoshop!
All thanks to Elin for introducing me this wonderful website:

www.sabrinasite.com

It's simply like playing an on-line barbie doll...
and most importantly, I can even customise the doll and make it look like me!

There are also many other interesting games available there... like building your own doll house and other interesting stuffs! Here are some of my wonderful works!!! Never thought that I can become a cartoon character as well.

You guys can try it out for yourself too!

Japanese Steamboat

Hehe... now looking forward for a big Japanese steamboat feast next week. I think my saliva has been drooping since I saw those cute little paper bowls in the restaurant yesterday. I accompanied both KL and KK to Tiong Bahru Plaza for dinner after work. We end up dining at this Japanese restaurant at level 3. Well, should say the food was excellent coz the ramen was super spicy (next time going to try the 4 chillis type). The tempura and chicken wings were also very tasty...Yummy! Ambience was quite romantic as we were like sitting in a garden having candle light dinner.

After that we went to pedal works, where KK wants to look for her pair of shoes. Wow, it's no wonder KL has been praising the shoes there. They have really big sizes...up to size 12! I have never seen such big shoes. But I sort of like the shoes there too because they fit nicely for people who has broad feet...like me. Next time I'm definitely going to get my pair of shoes from there.

Going out for the mystery shopping loh...:P Posted by Picasa

Say cheez! Posted by Picasa

That's my little birthday celebration with family, after a hard day's work painting house.  Posted by Picasa

Mystery Shopping & Gathering at Fann's condo

Had been doing some mystery shopping lately. It's a combination of fun and frustration. For the first few shops, I was irritated and frustrated because there were simply too many things I had to look out for. Plus, the sales person keep following me all the way... Phew! Think has to try out the other stores again later this week.

The office seems to be rather empty. Yah...a few colleagues has left and new people came. Sadly to say, one of my italian colleague is leaving too. Hence she held a gathering at her place last Wednesday after work. Know what? She stays at a wonderful condo at Newton area, with beautiful swimming pool and most importantly, a few storeys away from both Fann and Ming shun's apartment. Hehe...we saw his grey jeep..and PP and I were posing beside it and taking photos before we left the place. Haha...couldn't believe we really did that. Dinner was not very good as I am not used to eating cold pastas. Michela prepared a feast of 4 different types of pastas, with some salad, chips and chicken. She also made tiramisu....wow...that was really good. Very yummy... :P

Weekend was a fruitful one for me. Felt quite guilty. Supposed to do mystery shopping, but end up shopping too....hehe. I went for spa on Saturday with Karen at the City Spa. But think this is the first and last time I am going there. Service was ok, but I just don't like the place filled with China women. Afterwhich, went bugis village and international plaza. Well, I ended up buying a watch, and pair of heels from pretty fit. We went orchard shopping for a while and became bored... proceeded to toa payoh for some bargain hunting. Went Citigem to look for some birthday gift for her friend, ended up buying a pendant for myself. I was attracted to this pandent as Fiona was also wearing it on the advertisement. Wow... couldn't resist. That's really sinful... When did I become such a spendthrift? Think I have to control myself for the rest of the month.

Hope everything comes to an end

Hope everything has come to an end.

It has been almost 6 months since we broke off. I really cannot tolerate the constant pestering. Last time calling on my hp and home, later bombing my e-mails and now found my blog. I tried to ignore these insignificant tag lines, but really couldn't resist blowing up when i read his recent email, asking me out for a meetup. Hope my meaness can stop him from pestering me anymore.

Monday:

I was back in office to help out today and joined in the fun for lunch. Yes! It’s the Pot Lard Lunch that we decided to have to cheer one of our colleagues who came back from the China office. All of us brought lots of food. We have pizza, salads, chicken curry, olive rice, meatballs, lasagna, vegetables and fruits. In order not to miss out the fun, I decided to pester my mum to teach me make some noi-ya desserts. Elin made potato salad. I was glad that all of them liked the dessert. Amylia even told me that her daughter finished up all the desserts she brought home. That’s a great satisfaction!

Sunday:

Sunday was a slacking day. Finally I have the chance to slack around in the house, after so many days of helping out in the painting. Poor dad still has to bear with the tedious painting process. In the late evening, I went to the supermarket to get some ingredients for the dessert corn kuay. It was a hard time searching for the banana leaves, and we only managed to find it after popping by two supermarkets.

Saturday:

Though I missed out the fun in Sentosa, many colleagues and friends still dropped an sms birthday greeting. It’s so sweet of them. I am glad to have them around. Thanks to my kor kor who is so cute to send me sms in the middle of the night, when we are in the same house! Haha…and also thanks for the vouchers from kor and colleagues. I think I can go shopping this weekend. Specially thanks to one person who bring me around to those places that I never been before.

Friday:

Although Friday was a let down for me, but I ended up laughing all the way while my cousins were at my house. The kids were funny and they made so many unexpected comments until I really put my hats of them. The kids nowadays are not at all shy. They say anything that comes to their mind. Look at the boys' power ranger pose and little mei mei's pic. Btw, everyone says little mei mei looks a lot like me when I was young. Wow...so interesting to see another me running around the house.

The Worst Birthday!

Somehow I felt that everything seems to go wrong and haywire this year, whether it's studies, work or love life... Nothing seems to go on smoothly for me. Sometimes I wonder why does god have to make fun of me in this way? Why is it that other people can lead a carefree life and always have the luck on their side?

Going to work really piss me off. I don't have the motivation and drive because I know that whatever I have achieved in the past as a full-timer are all gone. My efforts will not be recognised. Now I am only a part-timer. Know what? I was in the office ALONE today! Just because I am a part-timer, I have to return to office to answer phone calls while all the others are out for an off-site outing at Sentosa. It's unfair! I mean this is supposed to be a reward for our efforts done earlier. All I can say is that I am really very disappointed and I have to bear with this temporary until my exams are over in May 2006. Couldn't understand why they want me to return to the office today. Why can't they just close the office for one day? Stupid right... really no logic. Now then I realise that no office is without politics.

Suddenly I don't feel like joining then for little chomp chomp lunch in the office. I just want to excuse myself and draw clearly what a part-timer should be. Being alone in office was terrible. Imagine the only thing accompanied by my side is FM 98.7 and a few funny people who came to collect some cheques. One cheeky guy makes me feel akward when he ask me if everyone in office will be back today. I look at him and think it's safer to say : "hmm, they will be back later in the afternoon." Well, the entire floor has only one office and no one else, quite creepy. Luckily, an angel came to accompany me for lunch. Hehe... but I know it's also a coincidence that you need to come to this building right? Anyway, thanks for dropping by. Hope you like the roast duck noodles... they are very popular man.

The worst thing is.... my house is going through a painting and revamp process. Everything is in a messy stage. Just helped with painting the living room yesterday, my sis's room today and tmrw will be my room. No proper time for birthday celebration. What a lousy birthday eve! Missed a Sentosa fun trip, dated someone out and got rejected, got to go backwork ALONE and bear with people discussing how fun the trip was... wah! Really cannot stand it! Sobsob....

(>_<)

Good Nite!
