Saw this on FP, originally adapted from MSN.com. Find it kinda of interesting, hence sharing it here!

Seven Friends Nobody Needs
~"~"~"~"~"~"~"~"~"~"~"~"~"

All friends are not created equal. Most buddies add to your life, but there are probably a few you would be better off without. The common denominator for these friends-gone-bad is that they act as if it's all about them and never about you. We're all guilty of being a little self-absorbed at times, but friendship is supposed to be a two-way street. If one of your friends isn't holding up her end of the bargain, consider calling her on her bad behavior -- or slashing her from your buddy list. (One word of caution: Before you start friend-cleaning, ask yourself if you fit any of these descriptions. You don't want one of your pals reading this and deciding to dump you!)

1. The whiner
Nobody knows the troubles she's seen. Things most of us accept as part of daily life -- carpool snafus, demanding bosses, men with poor communication skills -- she treats as evidence that the world is against her. We all enjoy complaining occasionally, but with her it's a nonstop moan-fest. Susan, 30, a public relations executive, refers to one of her friends as "the Crisis Queen." "It's always a catastrophe. It's draining just to have to hear it," she says.

2. The leech
She treats her friends like servants who exist to feed her dog, cover her shift at work, pick up her dry cleaning or peel her another grape. "She'll start off asking what I'm up to, but she really just wants to find out if I'm free to help her out," says Ellen, 39, a stay-at-home mom, about the leech in her life. "She recently called to ask what my daughter was doing. I said nothing, thinking she was going to invite her over. Instead, she asked if her daughter could come to my house!"

3. The busy bee
She's the PTA president, a party organizer and a domestic goddess all rolled into one. She makes you feel as if you are but a mere blip on her overscheduled radar screen. She consistently shows up late or says she's too busy to take your calls. "Since my friend got a new job, all she talks about is her crazy schedule," says Leslie, 26, an environmental consultant. "She makes it seem as if she's doing me a big favor by making time for me!"

4. The yakker
Thank God for caller ID. Everybody has friends that like to talk (if any of my pals are reading this, please know I've got that muzzle on order), but this buddy never lets you get a word in edgewise. In fact, she missed her calling as a telemarketer or a carnival barker. "I could hand the phone to one of the kids for five minutes and she wouldn't notice," says Kristi, age 42, a personal coach, of her personal Chatty Cathy. "Next time she calls, I'm going to have the country song 'I Wanna Talk About Me' playing in the background and see if she gets the hint."

5. The adviser
We all count on our friends for advice, but nobody needs a steady stream of unsolicited intervention. Whether this pal is trying to prove how smart she is or start her own counseling practice, she's got the answer for everything -- whether you ask her or not. Jodie, 32, a part-time nurse and mother of two, says she quit sharing things with one of her friends because, "She can't just listen; she always has to tell me what to do. She reminds me of the mother-in-law from hell!"

6. The dumper
Whenever something better comes up, she drops you like yesterday's business. The worst kind of dumper is the one that treats her female friends like fill-ins or time-passers until a guy comes into the picture. Jennifer, 24, a law student, says of one boy-crazy friend: "You'd think she was still in high school. We'll make plans weeks in advance, but if her boyfriend calls and asks her to hang out, she rushes over."

7. The bragger
She's been there and done that -- way better than you have. She just can't resist telling you how many carats her diamonds are or how much better her office is. She lets you know that your discount designer duds are so last season, while her outfits came straight from the Paris runway. "My conversations with this one friend consists of how important she is at work, what she's done to her house and how perfect her marriage is," says Julie, 31, a human resources administrator. "Doesn't she know it's supposed to be a friendship, not a competition?"

Had tuition session yesterday morning. Ryan's getting more and more mischeivous. Really had a hard time keeping him stay still and do his homework. Wow, better still now learn to tease me already! Lucky brought some cuttlefish tidbits for him, so that he won't complain hungry again. I always go soft-hearted when he sulks and give me the pity look. That's why think I cannot handle kids well. Never fierce enough. Think I've got to get more tips on how to deal with mischeivous kids. Help me!

Luckily, I don't have to face another 'monster' when I got home. My little cousin's not coming after school coz his mom has other things to do. Initial plan was to bring him for a swim with coz mum's off today. She also promise to bring him to the arcade for some games. So luckily it was cancelled. Somehow, no energy to play with him le after being irritated by Ryan. Argg.... becoming scared of kids somehow. They seems to drain away all your brain cells and energy. Went 'marketing' at ntuc with mom instead.

Met up with Jayson for dinner at Sakae. Initially wanted to have pepper lunch, but saw the food outside and thought it's too big a portion. Then not really very appetising. So up with my favourite food - "Rice". Had my favourite fried maki, fried toufu, salmon and soft shell crab... :) Also discovered some new and cool food in their new menu there. Will definitely order those on my next visit. Saw my cousin at nydc afterwhich. We were there for dessert mah. Didn't expect her to be suddenly 360 degree change of attitude and was extremely friendly! We had tiramisu mudpie and it tastes superb! But end up guilty le...must exercise more.

I am listening to both Beyond's songs and A-mei's latest album. I didn't realise that Beyond has so many nice R&B songs! Wow... now I have so many songs to listen... so happy! Great music makes my day beautiful. Meanwhile, I am looking forward to seeing adeline tomorrow! It's her big wedding day! Yeah, she's getting married on April fool's day. Hopefully I can borrow my sis's camera and take some pics.

KTV again

Went ktv session again on Sunday with my uni classmates! Wow, seems going to have ktv sessions every weekend le. But I love it!

Met Dawne and few of her colleagues too. They were very friendly people. Learnt some dancing tips from them too. Coz some of them were dance experts! taken several courses already, such as tango, 'Rock n Roll' and Salsa.

Sort of getting so interested in Salsa by their mini demo. Wow... suddenly find dancing a great challenge!

We have to divide/chop our body to many parts, like shoulders, chest, upper and lower abdomen, then hips. So each movement is so complicated as we have to concentrate on certain areas only. So it's really not easy to coordinate. Especially when Salsa has no fixed steps. It really depends on the guy you are dancing with to lead the movements and steps. Hope I can really get started on my dance classes straight after my exams in June.

Recently, I have been learning many new songs and hope to master them well. Start to expose myself to Beyond's songs as well. Yah, didn't sort of hear them when I was in secondary school days. Didn't realise that their songs are quite nice and meaningful.

Met many nice people around me this week. They make you feel that you are not alone and make me realise that they are there for me.

Big Momma 2

Wooo... has been looking forward to watch this movie for a long time.

Managed to watch it yesterday. :)

The storyline was hilarious throughout the entire movie.

Made me laugh non-stop.

Like Martin Lawrence's fake high pitch voice,

and the little boy who love jumping down from high places.

Plus the presence of a clown among the audience seats,

made me laugh even heartily.

There's a guy at the back seats laughing so loudly like nobody's business!

So funny... me and JQ keep laughing at him.

This is the poster of my favourite TV show, the female lead actress is in the middle.

Some act-cute photos! Haha... was in love with the HongKong drama series "Tian Soon Ye Ye". How's my hairstyle? I am trying to immitate the lead actress's dress-style! Jap jap type lor?

For comparison sake, this is the normal me. Any comments? Act-cute image prettier?

The top view of the jewel box

The side drawer ...so sweet right?

Watched this movie on Friday night with Peg, Rane and Jayson. Couldn't believe it that this is the first time I m catching a movie with Peg. Haha... didn't realise it until Peg told me in the cinema. The storyline was rather nice as it reflect the political aspects of the media and government. But somehow, I was not very satisfied as I am expecting to watch something funny. I have been always wanting to watch the Big Momma's House or The Shaggy Dog. Hopefully can catch anyone of that movie next weekend with SC and Jeff. Too bad, Suling's having her exams, can't join us.

This week was sort of a short break for me. I have been quite bored staying at home even when the mock papers are over. Crab is always so busy with his driving, Taekwondo, and studies. So didn't dare to disturb him. Went swimming on Tuesday, and jogging on wednesday. No bad, think I have better stamina nowadays. Can jog longer distance and swim faster le...:) hehe! Don't think that I am so healthy lifestyle k, haha...I have also been indulging in good food recently! So worried that my exercising plan will be wasted.

Wednesday had Sakae buffet with Shiyun. Thursday met up Gavin and his friend Jasper, and had dinner at the Esplanade. It has been a long time since I went there. Didn't know that there's a stretch of hawker food stalls there and the Fried prawn noodle is superb! :P Really... Friday was Shiyun's birthday celebration! Went school study with Germaine. Later met with the others at Cafe Cartel for dinner. The service there is super slow! Nevertheless, enjoyed the wonderful meal there. Bought a little jewel box for the birthday gal. It's so sweet and princessy! Hope she will like it.

Yesterday went to see my little "boyfriend". (That's my little cousin - The one with honey lips) He's getting more and more intelligent. I love kids and he's just so adorable. I enjoy being entertained by with his funny faces/actions and his endless questions.

Enjoyed the Lovely Weekend

This weekend was certainly a happy one becasue my last mock paper was finally over! I almost attempted to run away from the HRM paper, luckily I went and realise how simple was the paper. The questions came out quite predictably. So quite happy to say I should not do badly for my last minute revision.

Went to the Korean restaurant I always wanted to go at Chinatown, with PP and group. Business was so good and very crowded. Luckily this time, I made reservation and managed to get seats. Loved the spicy food there! It's so delicious and value for money. :P After that we went for our ktv session at party world. I have not touched the mic for so long... and this time, we sang for 4 hours non-stop. Really sang our hearts out.

Sunday was reserved for my mummy. Brought her to Parkway Parade as we have not shopped there before. Yah, I am bringing the big moutain turtle and myself, the small moutain turtle out of our cave, to see the world! (Haha...just trying to be funny)

I should say the shopping centre is quite huge. The shops there are quite different from the ones we see in town. For instance, they have chocz - selling cakes, the fengshui house - a specialty shop, Top 20 - a fashion like This fashion ... etc. I should say it's a new experience. The food at the foodcourt are also not expensive. $3 for one big plate of mee robus. Mum and me nearly fainted when we saw the huge serving. We shared the food and still feel very bloated after that. Didn't bought many things, just some daily stuffs. Yah, shopping is never so fun since I return from Bangkok.

One good news to share, I have booked tickets to Bangkok in July again! All thanks to the Jetstar promotions. I managed to get the return airtickets at $95 only. Read from Flowerpod that the major shopping centres in Bangkok such as MBK and Isetan will be having their great Sales in 1-31 July! Guess it will be the best reward for myself after the final year exams! So now, I need to save hard for my shopping trip again in July. OMG...can't stop feeling excited. :P

Low Productivity

ESAP paper was over yesterday. (So glad and relieved!) Hoho, I must thank you for giving me the wonderful tips on where to focus. Otherwise, everything wouldn't have gone so smoothly. Xie xie ni!

Today has not been productive at all. I ate something "unclean" in the morning. Haiz...whole day stomach was feeling bloated and weird. Plus the super hot and humid weather, it totally put my concentration level to study at the lowest! No mood...Also, because of that, I wasted my afternoon lying in bed and listening to Ah-mei's new songs.

So I tell myself that I have to work doubly hard from tonite onwards until monday, my OT paper. It's quite easy to spot... already decided on a few topics (taking a bet this time for mock). Wish me good luck!
