It's A Tiring Day!

I have been attending MSM Revision workshop yesterday and today, & they were 2 full-day workshops ... so tiring after coming home. But luckily, I had some fun today in school at the job fair during the lunch break. Elin and I decided to skip lunch since we had a heavy breadfast. One the "ang moh" lecturer annouce for lunch break, Elin and I quicked headed to the atrium for the job fair. We have been rather troubled recently about what we are going to do after exams...what kind of job to apply. Haiz...troubled!

We visited from stall to stall, getting information about the companies and filling up our particulars. Somehow, we realised that we had quite some fun talking to some very friendly participants. We stayed at the SPH booth the longest becoz they are giving out very pretty shasha bears!!!! Hey, it's cute man! I want it! To get it, it's not easy... Let me explain. First, I had to fill in my email address, then pick a card for a board with many poker cards. If I get the "king" card, then I can walk away with the bear. Elin got it and I failed to get the "king" card. I couldn't bear to leave the place, loittering around with a sulking face and i went back to the stall to try again :P hehe (cheapo rite...but i really like the bear lehz) This time, I failed again. I was desperate and asked Elin to pick a card for me. Guess wat? She was really Lucky lor! The staff says there's only 1 "king" card left on the board of around 20 cards. If she's able to pick out the "king", he'll give her 2 bears! And she did it! So Lucky!

My eyes went bulging out with happiness when I saw her carrying out 2 paper bags with the bear from the SPH booth! Hehe...my bear bear...tonite I'm going to sleep with it. (Haha...can't imagine me at this age still behave like this!) We end up having three bears :) and we gave our gd friend, Biya the extra bear we had. Woohoo...we were grinning from ear to ear after getting the freebies and make use of the remaining time for a quick bite before proceeding to our lecture hall.

Our lecture ended around 5pm and I went for dinner at Sunplaza with mum & dad before going to see my "naughty" little student. At Sunplaza, I bought some exam past year papers from a push cart at $14. Hehe ... as usual, that's the price after my superpower bargaining session, okay. (Think I am becoming auntie loh) I had "zui gue" for dinner and proceeded to my tuition upstairs. It was around 9.20pm that I finally reach home. I juz feel so drained out after a long day and no energy to open up my books tonight. Now, i m sitting down with my teddy bear and hoping to share my joy with u. ****Good Nite!****

Wait...........before I go, here's some pics I took today to share! Ohyasumi! ;p

Yippee....My New Mobile Phone

Ah... ha! I have finally managed to get a new mobile phone. M1 was having promotion yesterday and I got the Motorola E398 for only $68...wow damn worth it! This phone has all the functions that I have been lemming for. It has video, a quite good camera with flash, able to play MP3 and bluetooth. The only disadvantage of this phone is maybe it's messaging is not as friendly as Nokia. (It's hard to adapt a new phone after using my Nokia for 2 years) I went to the M1 store at SunPlaza in the afternoon before catching the movie "The Eye 10" at GV Yishun. Both mum and I were glad that we met with a good sales staff who explained to us fully on the phone's functions and features. He also gave me a lot of tips on where to download free mp3 music and games.

I was so happy after buying the phone. We proceed to Yishun to meet my brother. After meeting up with kor, we headed to a coffeeshop juz opposite Yishun bus interchange for coffee, while waiting for my dad to reach. Dad finally reached there in 20 mins time. I ordered horlick and shared a spring chicken with mum for dinner. The uncle was very nice, he even offered to refill our salard for free. Guess we were lucky this day, meeting so many kind-souls. That cheers me up a little. :p

After having dinner, all of us proceeded to the movie area as it was already 7pm. The show will be screening in 10 mins time. I was quite excited as the trailer seems very scary and horrifying. I was juz afraid that I'll be scared out of my wits. To my surprise, we were the first audience to enter the theatre. Hahaha....nobody inside and we sat on the last row. I thought that's good! Coz nobody will ever see me if I really jump during the show...then I wouldn't be so embarrased. I looked around the theatre and observed that there are even Malays and "Ang mohs" in the theatre...quite surprised. The show was funny and only a little portion that are scary. But it's not the type of story that I would expect to see. Not bad...Think I will rate it 7/10.

Motorola E398...Hehe That's my new phone!

My Wonderful Steamboat Dinner on Easter Day!!!

It was Easter Day. This was a sad day for me as it is 25th March! I should have been celebrating my ex's birthday if we hadn't broke off. Nevertheless, I try to make other arrangements to stop myself from thinking too much!

I met up my ex-colleages for dinner at Liang Seah Street (Opp. Parco Bugis Junction) for steamboat dinner and at the same time, catch up with one another. It has been almost six months ever since we have seen each other and all of us have changed alot! I was shocked when I first saw Pham walking towards me in her long and flair tube dress, paired with a lime green cardigan. That day, both pham and her hubby were in couple tops. (Both wearing lime green tops) Really glad for her that she's now happily married and Wow... she's PREGNANT! Can't imagine what kind of shock I got that moment... she's already 5 months pregnant. I juz can't stop myself from feeling excited and keep my hands off her stomach.

At 7.30pm, all of us were there, except Elsie who said that she will be joining us late. We settled in at a restuarant named "tian tian huo guo" (to be read in chinese) at the end of the street. This restuarant serves the taiwanese "ma la" steamboat and in buffet style. We ordered the half chicken soup and half "ma la" and end up eating alot....coz it's alacart! Wow...sotong, prawns, fishballs, mushrooms, meatballs... and many more..till now i still feel a little guilty eating that much food, ok. We chatted and enjoyed our dinner until around 9pm and continued our dinner with a dessert a few shops away, along the street. It was a famous dessert shop around the street, and I ordered a egg pudding. All of us got very irritated by the service level of this shop. The store was extremely crowded when we reached there. After placing our order, we waited for almost 45mins before we were served with our desserts! The BEST part was... guess wat? The desserts we ordered were cold and only need to be taken out from the stupid lousy fridge! That's wat made all of us jumped and complained to the boss about the poor service. Anyway, the boss really duno how to do business. He didn't gave us any compensations...and I guess that's the first and last time I'll be eating there.

Afterwhich, we proceed to the continental hotel for a drink. This was the first time I had ever watched a live entertainment session in the hotel lounge. We found a comfortable coach for six persons to continue with our chit-chatting session and browse throught Pham's wedding photos. All of us look really good in the photos. I really like her wedding photos...and seems like I will definitely use the same photographer for my wedding in the future. The photos really touched my heart! I like the photo with the scissors, paper, stone photo best....so cute! Next time, I'll definitely consult pham if I'm getting married. The ambience at the lounge was romantic and the fat african lady singing on stage had an excellent vocal. Her voice was low, rich and sounds wonderful when she sings... An unforgettable night. It has been a long time that I have such an interesting night out with my friends. We chatted until almost 1pm before we goodbye.
