Fever

I have been sick for this entire week.

Monday... MC... running fever...lying in bed. Taken medicine and got better, so return to work on Tuesday. Who knows, I begin to feel feverish at night. Wah...same for Wednesday and Thursday. So afraid it's dengue fever leh...so now monitoring my temperature very closely.

Just taken my medicine again. So delon please don't worry k. PP has also been reminding me to take my medicine. How nice of her....thanks huh. I will see a doctor again if the fever doesn't go off by tonight.

Life is becoming more and more challenging for me at work. More responsibilities and I really feel very happy at the new work place. Well, company retreat is also coming and I hope that it can be fun! I am extremely glad that life has been running smoothly for me.

Meanwhile, I have uploaded some photos that I took during the BBQ, Karaoke session and lunch at Cartel. I've got to take a very good rest in bed already!

A New Kid In Town

I would like to share the joy of the arrival of baby Della Bea, a little princess of my best friend, Pham. Her balloon finally exploded and hearing her delivering experience makes me feel realise how noble are all mothers. I am so happy for her that I have a little princess to play with. ;p

I just visited Pham at her new apartment at Holland V and was so amazed to see Della Bea's little fingers and feet. Wow... she looks so cute and I love her at first sight man! I carried her and she seems to like me so much... so happy! Such a fortunate baby who has almost more than 10 milk bottles and beautiful baby cot and room filled with toys and books! She has gotta a beautiful chinese name too. Her chinese name is Yi2 Xuan2.

At night, Shan was there to join us. We went to Holland V for nasi lemak. I was quite shocked to see "ge tai" there. Imagine the sight, seeing a "ge tai" beside the stretch of cafes, indeed it's a little akward. So we took a stroll along the roads before settling down at tcc for a drink and dessert. The staffs at tcc were extremely friendly and helpful. Haha... we even joke with them that we will help them get free food by making the wrong order next time. Nice place.

This is a gift from Pham & Bee... coz it's Della Bea's one month old !!!

Da..la! Very nice gift instead of the usual cakes and "ang-gu-kway". Actually there are 2 more eggs inside, nicely wrapped like the easter eggs...but i ate them already!

That's the bag that I have been aiming to buy for a very long time. Finally found it at Civic Plaza. Coz previously I've seen many people carrying in lectures. Available in Green, black, white, red, brown, orange, brown, purple...but I chose this! 

See....know what I mean? Bought too many clothes recently. Seems as if it's CNY right? Must control lohx :p 

On our way back home, we saw this green chicky tub top at Sun Plaza, at only $10 bucks! Haha...bought it at no second thoughts. 

Being A Mummy's Girl.

Had a great day yesterday.

Accompanied my mummy the whole day...becoz it's her off day. Well, I just feel that I have not accompanied her out for a long time. So we end up shopping at causeway point, accompanied her for a hair cut. Wow...never thought that I could found the bag that I have been lemming for! Recently, I juz realised that I bought too many things. Well, got to really control my spendings le. Just too many sales around Singapore although the GSS is already over.


We end up looking at Lee Hwa's promotion on their new range of purple gold. Hmm...didn't find it extraordinary nor attractive. So we went to her favourite Tian Po. Yes, managed to find something suitable for Pham BB. Coz we are visiting her this coming weekend for the baby's first birthday! I loved the pink dolphine pandent very much. It was also very siok to look through their range of "Hearts on Fire" collection. The diamonds had perfect cuts, but all extremely ex. Woo...I just joked to mum that she should buy me one for my wedding. Haha...and that was about $3k, for only a pair of RHD diamond earrings. Nevertheless, I was overjoyed when she offered to buy me a ring for my birthday present. Although it's not the Hearts on Fire range, but I am still very happy. Kept grimming for the rest of the day. Even until now... I am still feeling very happy over that.

This tune suddenly runs in my head. Someone sang this tune today in the office and everyone was laughing out loud. Today is a special Monday, unlike other Monday morning where you see dull faces around. It seems that everyone is in extremely good mood at work. Me too, no Monday blues although I still have to attend lectures at night. The holiday mood is just around us.


Yes! Tomorrow is a public holiday and finally I can laze in bed till the sun shine high. Wah hahaha... so siok right? I am really tired and feeling distress by going to school after work. It's simply too tiring. When people are going to work, they can read magazines and newspaper in the mrt. But me? Haiz...gotto read the thick pile of lecture notes. Almost no life and like a machine rushing for time everyday. Sorry people...I just want to complain, complain and complain! After looking at my photo taken a few days ago by ZH, I knew that I look like a walking zombie... with super dark eye rings! Seems like a dried sugarcane being squashed out its juice many times until there's no more juice already. The next time you see me, you will see a hagged-looking me already. Becoz I always reach home feeling mentally exhausted. Haiz...how i wish I don't have to work.


Anyway, tomorrow's National Day. Going to watch Bewitched. Hope it's going to be worthwhile the $ and not disappoint me hor. I saw the Land of the Dead last weekend and it was not as great as I have thought. Becoz it resembles Dawn and the Dead kind of storyline....Almost identical. Also feeling excited to watch mod sister too. Think should be not bad also. Hope I can enjoy myself and relax before going back to my tiring work and school life.

And in today's paper, another good news! Yeah...I can also watch the fireworks in Yishun central on National Day! But that wouldn't be as romantic as it is by the river side. But guess the location wouldn't be important. The most important thing is who you are watching it with, right? Think might be watching alone this year le.

Yesterday, Elin and I met up with ZH for dinner ... was feeling quite guilty leh coz I was rather tired after work, and was not in the mood to take more photographs. We had dinner at Phil's Steakhouse. Well the steaks are reasonably priced, but service was really bad. Their tables were shaky and the waitress who attended to us, had a "black" face. Anyway, ZH, hope you enjoyed the dinner.

Btw, I went JB last weekend with my family because the Malaysia Mega Sales has just begin!!! Wow...everything's so cheap, going at 30%, 50% and even 70% off the usual price! There were many people and I was extremely satisfied with my grabs. Hehe... managed to buy 4 tops with S$50+. That's super worthwhile as the clothes are from Seed, P & Co and FOS. I also dyed my hair at the Reds salon, and was quite pleased by their service. :) ~pretty pretty mah~ The only thing that I hate is the long queue and jams at the custom. Wah...as usual, got to queue up for v long and squeeze through our way home.
